Girl! It was ridiculous how I had overanalyzed how I was going to feel one way or the other, finding out, but of course it really didn't matter. As soon as he said girl I felt bad for Owen, that he wouldn't have a little brother he would be fairly close in age to, but on the other hand we're not sure if we're going to have more kids so I am relieved to have one of each. Not that there's anything wrong with having only 2 kids, and 2 boys, sounds like fun to me! I think somewhere along the line I must have bought into the 2 kids - boy/girl as perfect family and it irks me. Oh, and I suppose there's a part of me that wanted to be different. There are a ton of boys in the family and I thought it would be fun to have a girl. Now I'm freaking out about a girl, all that princess stuff? And pink? And a teenager? Oh dear.
So yeah, the baby is healthy and everything looks great. What a relief!
Thanks, you guys, for your kind words on the last post. It's nice to know I'm not totally abnormal. I know a lot of people go through different pregnancies differently, but I wonder if having a girl makes your hormones go more crazy?

Yes, I think girl hormones make it worse. JMO.
CONGRATULATIONS!
Adam LOVES his little sister (and Jacob too, but there's a bigger age difference there). I asked one day if he were bummed that he didn't have a little brother and he was so emphatic that NO, he loved Sissy. That brother/sister bond is a big one, you'll see.
I'll start saving some little things here for you, but I know you'll want to run out and get your own!
Congrats! :D Sometimes I feel bad that Sadie most likely won't have any sisters, but you just have to take your family as it comes. Every family is perfect and different. Now, go shopping for some pink!
YYYYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!
